Types of Bacteria in Veterinary Microbiology

There are two types of Bacteria 1. Coccus 2. Bacillus.

Coccus

কক্কাস দেখতে গোলাকার এরা চেইন,আঙ্গুরের থোকা বা জোড়া হিসাবে থাকে।

• Staphylococcus(SSTI)
• Streptococcus(pneumonia)
• Gonococcus(Gonorrhoeae)
• Meningococcus(Meningitis)

Bacillus

বাসিলাস দেখতে দন্ডাকার রড এর মতো । এরা সাধারনত এককভাবে থাকে।এছাড়া কমা ও সপিলাকার Bacillus ও আছে।

• Bacillus anthracis(Anthrax)
• Bacillus Cereus(Food poisoning)
• Bacillus megaterium (Brain abscess)
• Vivrio cholera(cholera)

Broad spectrum antibiotic

The antibiotics that act against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria are called broad-spectrum antibiotics. Examples are Azithromycin and Amoxicillin.

Narrow spectrum antibiotic

The antibiotics that act against either gram-positive bacteria or gram-negative bacteria are narrow-spectrum antibiotics. Examples are Bacitracin, Glycopeptides

Helminthes হচ্ছে বহুকোষী, দ্বিপাশ্বীয় প্রতিসম পরজীবি প্রানী যাদের তিনটি germ layer থাকে ।

Cestode

এরা দেখতে ফিতার মতো লম্বা কয়েক মি.মি থেকে কয়েক মিটার ।

Trematode

এরা দেখতে পাতার মতো লম্বা এক কি.মি হতে কয়েক সে.মি ।

Nematode

এরা দেখতে নলাকার মতো লম্বা কয়েক সে.মি হতে এক মিটার ।
